A classic five-pocket jean made with a beautiful 15oz, 100% cotton, double black selvedge denim woven by the iconic Kuroki mill on their 1920's Toyoda shuttle looms. They are one of Japans most respected premium denim mills. The company is still run by Tomatsu Kuroki and his family.
The double black selvedge will stay black for longer and is finished with a pink line selvedge. Simple but beautiful. At 15oz, this is our heaviest short run denim ever. Because the denim is woven with heavier and denser yarns, they're warmer to wear, they'll last a long old time, and they'll fade much better with wear. The perfect winter weight jean.
Like an old Land Rover, they're so well built they'll last you a lifetime. Many, many winters.
The Slim® cut has become a big hit. We took the Slim cut and shaved 2cm off the leg. The leg opening is 16.5cm. And they look great. Apart from the fit, pretty much everything else is the same.
Each pair will come with a limited edition Hiut Denim tote bag, and a limited edition leather label.
