A classic five-pocket jean made with a beautiful 13.5oz indigo neppy selvedge by the iconic Kuroki denim mill, Japan.
This one of a kind selvedge is made of 70% cotton, 16% acrylic and 14% polyester. The added acrylic makes the denim stronger and warmer. It has the same feel as wool.
If you look closely, you will be able to see orange, pink and white flecks in the denim. That's called rainbow nep. Pink, orange and white coloured acrylic fibres are woven into the denim to give it this burst of life.
The warp is indigo dyed and the weft is dyed with a charcoal grey. So when they're turned up, they look a lot different to your normal blue jean.
The Slim® cut has become a big hit. We took the Slim cut and shaved 2cm off the leg. The leg opening is 16.5cm. And they look great. Apart from the fit, pretty much everything else is the same.
Each pair will come with a limited edition Hiut Denim 50/50 tote bag, and a limited edition leather label.
