A loose fitting five-pocket jean made with a beautiful 12oz, 98% cotton, 2% stretch neppy selvedge denim woven by the pioneering Kurabo Denim mill. The home of premium Japanese selvedge denim.
If the Danish are masters of minimalism and clean lines, the Japanese craftsmen are masters of character.
The subtle imperfections of this denim where the cotton breaks through the surface to create a subtle snowy effect, also known as 'nep' is a reference to Wabi-Sabi and the beauty of imperfections that are purposefully woven into the fabric. The nep gives the denim great texture. The kind you'd only find in vintage jeans.
This denim is made with 50% recycled cotton. The recycled yarn is darker and gives the jean a deeper indigo finish which will fade beautifully over time.
Finished with a bold green line selvedge and a hint of stretch they're a pair of jeans that you can wear all year round.
Each pair will come with a limited edition Hiut Denim tote bag, and a limited edition leather label.
As always, made in Wales. Free repairs for life.
