A classic five-pocket chino jean made with a beautiful 10.5oz, 100% cotton, rich green fabric with a white-line selvedge denim by the iconic Kuroki mill. They are one of Japan's most respected premium denim mills. The company is still run by Tomatsu Kuroki and his family.
Cut like a jean. Cloth of a Chino. Ages like a jean.
Most chino fabrics have one dimension. They start out looking the same way as they do throughout their life. What you see now is what you see later. But, what we love about jeans is their get better with age. And what we love about this chino fabric is that it is woven and dyed in such a way to do just that.
These jeans have been given one rinse wash to take out any shrinkage and to give them a soft feel. Yup, the details matter.
Each pair will come with a limited edition Hiut Denim tote bag, and a limited edition leather label.
The Slim® cut has become a big hit. We took the Slim cut and shaved 2cm off the leg. The leg opening is 16.5cm. And they look great. Apart from the fit, pretty much everything else is the same.
