A classic fitting five-pocket jean made with a beautiful natural indigo 13.5oz redline selvedge denim by the original Cone Mill. Using organic cotton, this denim was woven at Cone’s White Oak Plant, which opened in Greensboro in 1905 and produces the company’s premium denims.
The combination of this being woven in the White Oak mill, which for many is America's most iconic mill, and then you add into the mix of using a natural indigo and organic cotton, then this starts to become denim at its purest.
Real indigo fades to a beautiful blue, like no other. Chemicals don't do blue quite like nature does. They just don't.
This fabric has natural flecks and slubs in it. These few pairs are reduced because they were slight seconds, with more flecks than the GrandMasters were happy with, so they wouldn't pass them as firsts. They are not perfect, but to the untrained eye, they are pretty close.
The Slim® cut has become a big hit. We took the Slim cut and shaved 2cm off the leg. The leg opening is 16.5cm. And they look great. Apart from the fit, pretty much everything else is the same.
