Copy of How To Measure.

HIUT'S MEASURING GUIDE.

We've put together an easy how to measure guide for you to find your perfect fit.

All measurements should be in centimetres for accuracy.

Waist - Lay your jeans flat in front of you and bring the front waistband up so it sits perfectly on the back waistband. Now measure across the top. You need to stretch the waist band by pulling it out.

Front Rise - Measure from the top of the front waistband to the the cross seam at the crotch.

Hip - Measure down from the top band at centre front (Mens 18cm / Womens 12cm). Now just measure across the whole jean.

Thigh -  From the crotch (where all the seams cross), measure across to outside of the leg.

Hem - Just straight across the bottom of one leg.

Length - Measure from the crotch down the inside leg to the hem. Follow the inside seam for guidance.

FAQ's on How to Measure.

Will my Jeans shrink?

Our denim is sanforised so shrinkage will be minimal. They will of course tighten after their first rinse but you can counter this by putting the jeans back on while they are still slightly damp to stretch them back out.

The only area we expect any real shrinkage is in the leg length but we counter for this by adding an extra inch to the leg length.

Will the fabric affect the fit?

Yes. Some fabrics can make the fit a little looser or a little tighter. If there is a difference, we give this advice under ‘The Fit’ section on the product page.

Happy Measuring.
