It happens.
Time after time.
You buy a pair of jeans.
Then.
One day, they end up on the shelf.
No big fall out.
Just a subtle drift apart.
They might not fit.
Too small.
Too big.
The cut is not you anymore.
So, they just stay there.
Sometimes for years.
But it doesn’t have to end like this.
Why did we set up Déjà Blue?
We believe that one of the best things we can do to support the planet is make products that last.
That means high quality fabrics.
High quality construction.
And, of course, free repairs for life.
But we wanted to take our responsibility for the life of our products one step further and so we introduced Déjà Blue. We take back unwanted jeans from our customers. They get a discount towards a new pair. And we then repair and resell the jeans.
This is a small step.
But it is a step in the right direction.
By bringing our pre-worn products back into the loop, we reduce our waste, our carbon, our water consumption and our pollution. So, if you are trying to reduce your impact on the planet by buying second-hand clothing, here’s your chance to buy some beautifully worn in pre-loved Hiuts.
And, with our free repairs service, we’ll keep them going for you for as long as we possibly can.
These jeans are made to last.
High quality fabrics.
High quality construction.
Let’s cut down consumption and use what’s already out there.
Extending the life of a pair of Hiuts. It makes sense.
We want to make a difference.
And we’re taking responsibility for all the Hiut jeans that are out there.
This is a small step.
But its a step in the right direction.
Reduce our waste. Reduce our carbon.
Reduce our water. Reduce our pollution.
We’re closing the loop.
Déjà Blue. Our pre-loved collection.
You've returned some beautifully worn-in jeans, each with their own story to tell, with fades that were created by you and the things you did in them. We have washed them, carried out a few repairs where they were needed, and now they are ready to go back out in the world for their second life.
There is something very special about denim that has been faded gradually through being worn.
Each pair feels like a work of art. Slowly crafted by you. Check them out below.
